Appearance: Burnt amber with an off-white head.
Nose: Sweet toasted rye bread topped with orange jam, and a delicate aroma of honey and caramel and meadow flowers in spring bloom.
Taste: Like a well-baked loaf of bread straight from the oven the first tastes come from sweet malts with just a hint of caramelised sugar. Spicy rye joins as the beer warms, with notes of black pepper and slightly flamed orange zest. Gentle carbonation helps lift the smooth body and leaves a mouthwatering spicy sweetness on the aftertaste.
