The Australians Bastardized Take on the English ESB
Easy drinking and balanced ale inspired by the english ESB (Extra Special Bitter) and bastardized by their far away colonists. malty and bready with a full body and a refreshing whiff of new world hops in the aroma. Not very bitter as the name might indicate.
This recipe was originally released as a Banksia ESB for a Australian beer bar in Copenhagen, that unfortunately went belly up. When that happened we liked the beer so much we decided to keep brewing it. There's always a silver lining as they say.
