Beer Here John's Pils

Dryhopped, dry and drinkable.

John is grumpy. He has always been. But these days even more than usual. The reason is of course that. while the craft beer revolution has hit Denmark like a ton of bricks, somehow the black sheep of the beer world: the simple lager, has been left out in the cold. As a black sheep, John identifies with the humble lager. That is why we brew Johns Pils. But like John, this beer may seem easy going and friendly. It's not though. It is inspired by the dry, minerally and plesantly bitter pilsners from North Germany, but with a touch of Bavarian toasted malt for complexity and mouth feel for a balanced and harmonic expression of the fine malts and noble hops. And then we ruined everything by a heavy dose of dry hopping. Expect something spicy and uncompromising with a lingering herbal note. Not unlike John and his Hotdogs.
